Did you check the DuraSpeed settings? Just activate the apps in the list which should be allowed to run in the background - I had a similar problem with notifications until I found this thing which for some odd reason is not in the battery saver settings where it should belong to.
I do have Bluetooth connection problems, too. Very annoying with my smartwatch. A reboot is not necessary - I just have to disable and re-enable Bluetooth. I hope this gets fixed soon.
By the way: What is the actual Firmware of the S96 Pro? My version is from 11/30 2020. No update for half a year now?
