I'm a new user so I can't make new threads but I have an S59 purchased from Amazon as well. The phone works great, but sometimes the right side has a touch issue and it'll make ghost touches. I haven't tried resetting but it otherwise has no real issues.
What I am writing this message about is to ask if root is available for the S59 and if there are any roms available? I've looked on XDA but they just focus on the newer phones like the S96.

The problem I have is that ghost touches occur on the display when typing letters on the keyboard. Periodically two letters pop up. More than 10 people complained to me about this on the S59 Pro. After removing the protective film from the display, it became less common, but this problem has not disappeared at all. Resetting all settings, setting the duration of delays and intervals of pressing did - did not help. I even adjusted the sensitivity of the display and the response time of the sensor, but did not completely solve the problem.

Alya I was restoring to factory settings. After recovery, problems appear through one or two words constantly. After installing a third-party keyboard, this happens less often - once a day or even two.

I bought a 59 pro on amazon on 24/4/21 and for the last few days i am not able to access the internet using mobile data . Wifi works fine . I have checked everything and reset settings to default , turn on/off airplane mode . Taken out the sim and put it back in and nothing works . I went as far as to contact my service provider (vodafone) to check everything was fine and it was . When i put the sim in my old phone i get instant access to data . I also have that key ghosting where letters come up doubled at times , first i thought it was my elephant fingers but after reading above i'm guessing it's not.
AidenF mine has the same issue. Can this be resolved?
Hy! I have also purchased this great phone and from the first day of use i'v encountered no issues. No ghost touches either no mobile data problems. Maybe i had luck. Also, the call quaity is AWESOME and the signal reception is unbelieveble. I had a lot of phones from Xiaomi/Samsung/Realme and none of them did not compare with this phone antenna reception. I guess is something wrong with your Apn settings and you should enter it manually. Or your carrier is not supported by this phone.Sorry to see your troubles.
